IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Before using the coee maker, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with the electric outlet
(2 ).30Vac
3. Do not use two-way socket with another appliance.
4. Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it should be replaced
with the same type and size or bring the unit to the nearest Imarex Authorized Service Center.
5. Do not use the coee maker if the water tank is empty.
6. Do not place the coee maker near gas stove, electric burner or heated oven.
7. Put the coee maker on stable surface; keep it away from the edge of counter to avoid accident.
8. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
9. Do not allow cord to touch hot surface of the coee maker.
10. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the coee maker in water.
11. Do not use carafé for other purposes.
12. Avoid placing the carafé on a wet or cold surface.
13. Do not use the carafé if it has a crack or the handle is not stable.
14. Switch OFF after use and unplug the unit from the convenience outlet.
15. Do not use the unit for outdoor use.
16. Do not use this unit other than its intended use.

DESCRIPTION OF PARTS

HOW TO USE
1. For initial use, wash lter basket and the carafé thoroughly.
2. Plug the unit in a convenience outlet. to
3. Put the lter basket into the lter holder.
4. For each cup of coee, put ground coee into the lter basket using a measuring spoon
5. Fill carafe with the desired amount of water. Open the cover and pour water into the water tank from
the carafé and close then.
6. Place the carafe into the heater plate.
7. Switch the unit ON. The brewing cycle will start.
8. er To keep the coee hot, leave the carafé in the heat plate.
NOTE Always turn o the unit if the carafé is empty. :
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
How to clean the Water Tank:
1. Pour water on the water tank with one pint vinegar.
2. er Put the carafé into the heat plate.
3. Allow the vinegar inside the water tank for at least 30 minutes. Switch ON.
4. Empty carafé and rinse it thoroughly.
5. Pour water on the water tank and repeat the brewing cycle.
6. Switch OFF.

How to clean the Hot Plate and the Filter Basket:
1. Unplug the unit from the convenience outlet.
2. Allow the unit to cool OFF before cleaning.
3. er Wipe the heat plate with damp cloth and wipe it dry.
4. Wash the lter basket with soap and water.
How to clean the Carafé
1. Wash the carafé using a mild detergent.
2. To remove stains, ll carafé with water and mild soap, allow these inside the carafé overnight.
3. Rinse the carafé thoroughly.
