IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the
following:
1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Before using the coee maker, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with the electric outlet
(2 ).30Vac
3. Do not use two-way socket with another appliance.
4. Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it should be replaced
with the same type and size or bring the unit to the nearest Imarex authorized service center.
5. Do not use the coee maker if the water tank is empty.
6. Do not place the coee maker near gas stove, electric burner or heated oven.
7. d; Put the coee maker on at stable surface keep it away from the edge of counter to avoid accident.
8. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
9. This appliance is not intended to use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
10. Do not allow cord to touch hot surface of the coee maker.
11. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the coee maker in water.
12. Do not use carafé for other purposes.
13. Avoid placing the carafé on a wet or cold surface.
14. Do not use the carafé if it has a crack or the handle is not stable.
15. Do not use the unit for outdoor use.
16. Do not use this unit other than its intended use.
17. After use switch OFF, and pull the plug from the electric outlet.
18. Save this instruction manual for reference.
DESCRIPTION OF PARTS
HOW TO USE
1. For initial use, wash Filter Basket and the carafé thoroughly.
2. Plug the unit in the convenience outlet. to
3. Put the Paper Filter into the Filter Basket.
4. For each cup of coee, put ground coee into lter basket using the measuring spoon
5. Open the cover of the water tank, pour the desired amount of water and close the cover.
6. Place the carafe into the warm plate plate.
7. Switch the unit ON.
8. he T coee maker will start brewing; water will drip into the carafe.
9. To keep the coee hot, leave the carafé in the warm plate.
NOTE Always turn o the unit if the carafe is empty.:
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
How to clean the Water Tank:
1. Pour water on the water tank with one pint vinegar.
2. Put the carafé into the warm plate.
3. Switch ON.
4. After one minute switch OFF.
5. Allow the vinegar inside the water tank for at least 30 minutes. Switch ON. The water will ow into the
carafé after boiling.
6. Empty carafé and rinse it thoroughly.
7. Pour water on the water tank and repeat the brewing cycle.
8. Switch OFF.
9. Wash the carafé once more.
How to clean the Hot Plate and the Filter Basket:
1. and al Unplug low the unit to cool OFF before cleaning.
2. Wipe the warm plate with damp cloth and wipe it dry.
3. Wash the lter basket with soap and water.
How to clean the Carafé
1. Wash the carafé using a mild detergent.
2. To remove stains, ll carafé with water and mild soap, allow these inside the carafé overnight.
3. Rinse the carafé thoroughly.
